(Duluth, MN) -- A Minnesota native will carry the American flag for team USA at the Olympic Ceremony of the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, China.
John Shuster is a 2018 gold medal winning curler and is the first in the sport to be a co-bearer of the flag at an Opening Ceremony. Speedster Brittany Bowe will also be a co-bearer.
Flag bearers are elected by fellow Team USA athletes.
