North Dakota Highway Patrol graduates seven new troopers

(Bismarck, ND) -- Seven new troopers graduated Friday from the North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy. The trooper successfully completed a 21-week comprehensive law enforcement training program. The newly sworn troopers will begin field training with assigned NDHP troopers beginning Monday, February 14th, and be temporarily stationed at posts throughout the state. The assigned duty locations of the new troopers will be announced following field training in April. 

NDHP Colonel Brandon Solberg spoke at the ceremony and praised the recruits for their efforts, dedication, and commitment to protecting the citizens of North Dakota. "You all deserve our gratitude for choosing to serve the citizens of the great state in one of the most noble professions," said Solberg. 

The new graduates are Reece Burchard Joshua Dura, Mathew Lee, Alyson Moses, AJ Potter, Shea Pulley, and Austin Yancy.
