(Emerson, Manitoba) -- A blockade on the Canadian side of the Pembina-Emerson border crossing is set to end Wednesday.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police tweeted Tuesday afternoon that it has reached a resolution with protesters at the Emerson Port of Entry. RCMP officers will be coordinating the departure of demonstrators.

The blockade started early February 10th, stopping traffic across all four lanes of Highway 75 in protest of Canadian and American COVID-19 vaccination requirements for cross-border truck drivers.
