NDDoH warns about recent infant formula recalls

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Department of Health is warning residents about two infant formula recalls due to cases of Salmonella. 

Abbot Nutrition issued a voluntary recall on February 17th of several powder formulas, including Similac, Alimentum and Elecare. All were manufactured in a plant located in Sturgis, Michigan. 

A second voluntary recall was issued by Abbot Nutrition on February 28th for Similac PM 60/40. The formula was also created in a plant in Sturgis, Michigan.
