Troopers identify those involved in fatal semi/car crash in Bismarck

Bismarck - The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released more details about a car/semi crash in Burleigh County Friday that killed one person.  Abdulkadir Abdi, 31 years old, from Bismarck, died in the crash.  Abdi was driving a car that lost control on an icy stretch of Hwy 10 in Bismarck just before 6pm and collided head-on with the semi.  Both vehicles ended up in the ditch. Abdi died at the scene. The semi driver, Paul Silbernagel, 68, of  Bismarck, wasn’t hurt. 

Troopers say it was raining and sleeting at the time and roads were icy.
