(Poland) -- Minnesota Democrat Amy Klobuchar was one of four U.S. Senators who traveled to Poland Sunday as the Russian invasion of neighboring Ukraine continues.
The delegation is meeting with military officials and Ukrainian refugees. The trip is intended to re-affirm the U.S.'s commitment to Poland, Ukraine, and others helping to repel the attacks of President Vladimir Putin's troops.
Klobuchar called a missile attack Sunday morning on a training ground only 15 miles from the Polish border where she is staying "very provocative."
Congress recently passed a more than 13-billion dollar aid package to help Ukraine's military and with humanitarian efforts that President Biden says he plans to sign.
