Minnesota DNR warns anglers to leave the ice

(St. Paul, MN) -- Ice fishing season is over in Minnesota.

The state's Department of Natural Resources is warning anglers to leave the ice by March 21st. The deadline for the northern portion of the state applies to all possessions on the lakes.

Conservation officers are also reminding people to not leave litter behind, or risk getting a citation.
