(Washington, DC) -- Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer are reacting to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky's plea for help to Congress.

Zelensky addressed Congress Wednesday saying he is grateful for help from the U.S, but needs more support in the fight against Russia. The North Dakota lawmakers both say the U.S. should do more to help Ukraine.

Cramer says the U.S. should not allow Russia to dictate its response to the crisis. Hoeven says the U.S. should offer more military support to Ukraine and utilize more of America's energy resources.
