(Carpio, ND) -- Agriculture officials say canola could be a high-dollar crop for North Dakota farmers.

Prices are nearing 41-cents a pound, near record prices. The demand for canola goes beyond food to uses in the green energy industry.

North Dakota produces close to 85-percent of the nation's supply of canola.
