(Fargo, ND) -- Both North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota are being awarded a total of $800,000 in medical research funding.
The grants come from the U.S Department of Health and Human Services. A statement released by the U.S Senator Kevin Cramer's office says NDSU will receive $431,850, while UND will get $382,717.
NDSU's funds will be used to research treatments for breast cancer. UND's funds will be directed towards allergy, immunology and transplantation research.
