(Shakopee, MN) -- Shakopee Amazon workers are making demands of the company after staging a walkout.

Employees at the facility walked out Friday, asking the company to reinstate a three-dollar night shift wage increase. The workers also want shifts missed for the Muslim holiday Eid that marks the end of Ramadan to be considered part of their unlimited voluntary time off pool.

Currently, employees must take the time off out of a limited pool of days available to take away from work. The company said yesterday that cases where employees don't have time in their limited pool to take off for Eid, their situation would be dealt with on a case by case basis.
