Burgum makes another donation targeting Legislative seats

(Bismarck, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum is donating 300-thousand dollars to a political group target several fellow Republicans' legislative seats in the state's June primary.

He made the contribution Friday to the Dakota Leadership PAC, bringing his donations to the group this year to one-point-two million dollars. His donation was made only a day after several Republican lawmakers alleged that his contributions are unconstitutional.

The former software executive has given millions to the PAC since 2020, which is run by former advisers.
