(Minot, ND) -- Planting in North Dakota is delayed because of wet conditions.

Experts say the damp conditions are helpful in fighting drought conditions, but make it difficult to get equipment into the fields. Insects and weeds popping up because of the extra moisture are also causing issues.

The deadline for planting some crops is approaching, and has passed for others.
