Minnesotans stuck in Canada as flights are cancelled

(Vancouver, BC) -- A group of Minnesotans is stuck in Canada as airlines canceled thousands of flights over the weekend.

A nonstop Sun Country flight departed from Minnesota last week to Vancouver, British Columbia, but the airline canceled Sunday's return flight. The airline cited crew availability and maintenance that required a specific part.

Sun Country is offering reimbursement for hotel, food, and ground transportation to the airport.
