(Mandan, ND) -- A six-year-old California girl is dead after falling from a trailer while preparations were being made for the Mandan Independence Day Parade.
Police say the girl was riding on a trailer traveling down Laongspur Trail Southeast Monday morning before the parade when she fell and was struck by a trailer tire. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The death is under investigation.
