Feds in Minnesota charge two women for COVID relief scam

(St. Paul, MN) -- Federal authorities in Minnesota are charging two women for allegedly stealing millions in COVID relief funds.

Tequisha Solomon and Takara Hughes are accused of defrauding Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development as well as other state agencies. Solomon allegedly made over four-million in fraudulent claims, while Hughes allegedly made at least one-million.

Both women are scheduled to appear in court in St. Paul on July 15th.
