Survey: Minnesotans need at least 105 thousand dollars to be happy

(Minneapolis, MN) -- A new survey says happiness in Minnesota comes with a six-figure price tag.

The survey from GoBankingRates.com says people in the state need to earn at least 105 thousand-dollars a-year to be happy. The survey says that much money will allow people to live 'comfortably.' The national price tag is also 105 thousand-dollars.

Hawaii is the most expensive state for happiness, with people needing to make at least 203 thousand-dollars a-year. Mississippi is the cheapest state for happiness, the price tag there is just over 87 thousand-dollars a-year. 

If you're wondering, North Dakota's number is 103 thousand dollars.
