(Rolette County, ND) -- An anonymous call has led to seven-hundred animals being seized by the Rolette County Sheriff's Office.
The agency's Facebook page says authorities served a warrant at a home on June 1st, where they found a large number of cattle with an insufficient amount of food, as well as numerous dead cattle on the properly. About 500 cattle were seized at that time.
On June 23rd, after the situation was not improving, another 200 livestock were taken. The sheriff's office contacted third-party individuals to care for, feed and monitor these animals, which will be sold.
