More rural North Dakota counties getting high speed internet

(Bismarck, ND) -- More rural North Dakota counties are getting high-speed internet.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is investing 18-million dollars to provide access to high-speed internet for more than eleven-hundred rural residents and businesses in North Dakota and Montana.

The Reservation Telephone Cooperative will connect the residents, businesses, public schools, and farms in Dunn, McKenzie, and McLean counties in North Dakota and Richland and Wilbaux and Richland counties in Montana to a high-speed network.

Money from the Federal Communications Commission's Affordable Connectivity Program will give eligible residents a discount on service.
