(Oak Park Heights, MN) -- They are hiring at Minnesota's prisons, and they're offering 10 thousand-dollars for new guards to sign on.

The state's Department of Corrections Thursday offered a tour of the Oak Park Heights Correctional Facility near Stillwater to show the wing of the prison that's been closed because of staffing shortages.

The state started offering sign-in bonuses back in December, but recently doubled those bonuses to 10 thousand-dollars because they weren't getting enough applications.
