(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota is looking to add more medical conditions that qualify someone for medical pot.

Minnesota's Medical Cannabis Program wants to add Gastroparesis, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Opioid Use Disorder to the list of conditions that can get someone a medical marijuana prescription.

There are currently 17 medical conditions covered by medical marijuana including cancer and AIDS.

The state will consider new conditions through October.
