(Hackensack, MN) -- Cass County, Minnesota authorities are investigating a boat crash that killed a 13-year-old girl.
Authorities say a 50-year-old Horace, North Dakota man was driving the boat Sunday night on Ten Mile Lake near Hackensack when it "possibly struck something on or near the shoreline."
A teen passenger was thrown forward when the boat stopped abruptly. She died at the scene.
The driver of the boat suffered minor injuries. The crash does remain under investigation.
