(Walsh County, ND) -- One man was killed in a crash in Walsh County Saturday night.
It happened on a county road, four miles east of Edinburg just after 9 p.m. The North Dakota State Patrol tells WDAY Radio it was dark and snowing when 46-year-old Christopher Thompson of Grafton lost control of an SUV and struck a tree. He was not hurt but a passenger, 48-year old Jason Schatzke of Wheatland was killed.
Another passenger suffered minor injuries and two others were not hurt. Troopers say Thompson is facing a DUI charge.
The crash remains under investigation, and more charges are possible.
