North Dakota Department of Transportation closes sections of I-94 and highways statewide as winter storm arrives

(Update: 2:21 p.m) -- Additional road closures have been announced as the winter storm is rests over the Red River Valley.

 I-29 between the South Dakota border and Fargo is closed, and I-94 between Fargo and Dickinson is closed. Several other prominent roadways are closed; including ND Highway 46 eastbound from Streeter to I-29. US Highway 281 N from the South Dakota border to Jamestown, U.S Highway 52 from Harvey to Jamestown, and ND highway 13 from Mooreton to Wahpeton. 

(Fargo, ND) -- The North Dakota Department of Transportation is closing roadways across the state with winter storm conditions hitting the state two days in a row.

Updated information can be found on the ND DOT website; which shows I-94 between Jamestown and Dickinson, and Southbound U.S Highway 52 between Jamestown and Minot, is currently closed. The ND DOT is also showing most counties across the state are under no travel advisories, with some exceptions along the eastern side of the state.
