(Bismarck, ND) -- A pipeline in North Dakota is facing fines.

The North Dakota Public Service Commission is levying a 50-thousand dollar fine against Andeavor Field Services for violations surrounding a natural gas liquids pipeline project.

PSC Chair Julie Fedorchak says Andeavor committed permit violations and built parts of its pipeline project outside the permitted route.

Fedorchak says it's the second-highest siting fine that PSC has issued.
