(Pierre, SD) -- South Dakota's Board of Regents is adding two states to the Advantage program.

The program will now include Wisconsin and Illinois students on the list of those who will be offered in-state tuition through the program.

The additions are intended to help increase enrollment and lead more graduates to stay in South Dakota after graduation.

South Dakota Mines officials say the school will be sending a recruiter to that area of the Midwest in response to the change.

The program already applies to students in surrounding states except for Minnesota, which has a separate tuition agreement.
