(Bismarck, ND) -- Supreme Court justices and state judges here in North Dakota want a raise.
The judges say a bump in salary is overdue and they are asking the Legislature to approve an increase.
The Bismarck Tribune Wednesday was first to report that the increase request is 20-percent this July and 15-percent in July 2024.
If approved the judges and justices would move up to the middle of the state rankings on the pay scale while now they rank 40th and 41st.
