(Bismarck, ND) -- Investment leaders are reporting to lawmakers on the Legacy fund.

Leaders say the fund has about eight-and-a-half billion dollars. They say an addition one-point-three bill was transferred back to the state's general fund.

Around 80-thousand people have accounts in North Dakota's retirement fund.

A push to spend legacy fund dollars has been on since the announcement of the growth of it over the past two years.
