(Bismarck, ND)  -- Officials say North Dakota's tourism revenue is down.

Numbers released by the North Dakota Tourism Division Monday show a 344-million dollar drop in tourism revenue since April 2020.

What's the reason why? It could be because the area has been slow to recover from the hit dealt by the pandemic closures.

The good news is, however, that projections suggest Canadian visitation will reach pre-pandemic levels next year, hopefully bringing revenue in the state back up.
