(Fargo, ND) -- A Minnesota native is the new Assistant Secretary of the Air Force. Dr. Ravi Chaudhary was confirmed for the position by the U.S. Senate yesterday. The combat veteran served as an Air Force pilot between 1993 and 2015. He also spent five years in the Federal Aviation Administration. He grew up in Fridley and graduated from Columbia Heights High School.
