Senator Hoeven introduces Congressional Review Act to stop Biden Administration's "anti-Second Amendment" pistol rule

(Fago, ND) -- Senator John Hoeven has introduced a Congressional Review Act resolution aimed at stopping what he calls the Biden Administration's anti-Second Amendment pistol rule.

Hoeven says the resolution is to prevent the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from enforcing the rule that would reclassify pistols as short-barreled rifles if stabilizing brace attachments are used.

“This anti-Second Amendment pistol brace rule infringes on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens,” said Hoeven. “We will continue to defend the Second Amendment and push back on the Biden administration’s ATF, while supporting the constitutional rights of North Dakotans.”
