(Fargo, ND) -- A bipartisan bill co-sponsored by North Dakota Republican Senator Kevin Cramer extends disability benefits for fighters suffering from cancer caused by exposure to carcinogenic substances.
It also expands access to federal support for the families of firefighters and other first responders who died from work-related cancers.
The bill's other co-sponsor is Minnesota Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar.
