(Bloomington, MN) -- Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is resuming flights to Tokyo.

Flights started up again Monday.

Airport officials say the reestablishment of flights is a way to revamp business relations between Minnesota and Japan.

Around 17-thousand passengers flew the route prior to 2020, when the flights were stopped.
