North Dakota's Tax Burden one of lowest In U.S.

(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota's tax burden is one of the lowest in the country.

That's according to a new study out by Personal Finance website WalletHub. Their study compared all 50 states across the three tax types of state tax burdens, including individual income taxes, property taxes, as well as sales and excise taxes.

North Dakota came in 40th place, putting it among the 15 lowest in the U.S.

The state with the highest tax burden was New York and the state with the lowest was Alaska. Minnesota came in the top ten for the highest tax burdens as well.
