(Grand Forks, ND) -- The National Weather Service doesn't expect snow melt to begin in North Dakota until the week after next at the earliest.

Temperatures aren't expected to get above freezing any time soon and a storm system is likely to bring more snow next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecasters say cold air following that storm system could further delay the start of the melt.
