After dry weather had farmers across North Dakota concerned, conditions are improving.
A week ago, moderate drought conditions covered seven-percent of the state. Following rain that moved across the region, the drought area has decreased to less than one-percent.
While drought-criteria conditions have decreased dramatically, one-fifth of the state still remains abnormally dry.
