(Cleveland, ND) — A North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle was struck by a semi near Cleveland early Sunday morning.
Authorities say the trooper was investigating a crash involving two semis in Stutsman County, when a third jack-knifed and struck the patrol vehicle. No one was injured in the crash, and the trooper was not struck. Deputies say freshly fallen rain had frozen portions of the roadway, and that the semi’s were all traveling too fast for the conditions.
The crash remains under investigation.
