(Bismarck, ND) — Trygve Hammer appears ready to challenge Kelly Amstrong for his U.S. House seat.
Armstrong represents North Dakota’s at-large congressional district. Hammer is running as a candidate for the DEM-NPL party. Hammer filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission on Tuesday, but hasn’t publicly announced his candidacy so far.
A formal campaign announcement from the Hammer campaign is expected to happen next week.
