Fiery Richland county crash leads to serious injuries

(Richland County, ND) — Three people have been injured in a fiery crash in rural Richland County.

It happened on Saturday at the intersection of 77th Street Southeast and County Road One, where two pickup trucks collided. One of the trucks came to rest in a ditch and caught on fire, though the two people inside were able to escape. All three victims were seriously injured, one of whom suffered life-threatening injuries.

Officials say the crash was caused by one of the drivers failing to yield at a stop sign, and he faces charges of failure to yield.
