(Dickinson, ND) -- Dickinson State University has announced an $88-million campus modernization project.

It involves building an Education Innovation and Academic Excellence Center to support the School of Education faculty's goals, and to address the teacher shortage in western North Dakota.

The project would also involve tearing down some older buildings, upgrades to heating and tunnels, and updates to accommodate smaller classrooms and offices in existing buildings.
