(Crookston, MN) — A deadly officer-involved shooting in Crookston is under investigation.
Officials with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension say it happened Sunday night at a homeless shelter on East 3rd Street.
Police say when they arrived, they found a man inside the facility who was being combative and refused to follow verbal commands.
After trying less-lethal means, an officer shot the man, who died at the scene.
The man’s name has not been released.
