WESSINGTON, SD — A road construction worker was killed in a crash in South Dakota.
It happened near Wessington, in the east-central part of the state. The worker was directing traffic to slow down when a pickup stopped as directed and was hit by a car. The car then struck a woman who was working as a flagger.
