Trump transition team spokesperson: “Tens” of day one executive orders being written

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President-elect Trump will hit the ground running on inauguration day.

Trump transition team spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt made the statement in an interview with Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” where she promised Trump would immediately address issues of illegal immigration, inflation and energy policy. She said Trump would sign “tens” of executive orders on his first day, and work with congressional leaders to pass tax cut legislation as quickly as possible.

Trump also plans to fulfill his promise to revitalize the fracking industry by signing executive orders approving domestic energy projects.
