North Dakota Seeing Shortage in One COVID Vaccine Supply

(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota has a limited supply of the Johnson-and-Johnson vaccine.

The limited supply is part of a nationwide shortage of the single-dose option. Manufacturing errors plagued production process in March, and supplies haven't built back up yet.  Use of the vaccine was temporarily paused after six women reported rare blood clots.

The North Dakota Department of Health says it may be a while before that version of the vaccine is more widely available.
