A spokesperson for Minnesota Energy Resources, who joins the show to talk about the winter energy forecast, energy efficiency and tips to efficiently use energy this fall and winter season.

Jeff Forsberg, the safety director at BNI Coal’s Center Mine, who joins the show to talk about winter safety at the mine and then also give some tips on how everyone can improve their chances of remaining healthy this winter by following some winter safety tips. The Center Mine provides fuel to the Young Station and is located near the town of Center, ND. Cold temperatures can mean brittle metal, icy road conditions and exposed skin can suffer frostbite. Besides being a safety director, Jeff is also an EMT – emergency medical technician.

Kathleen Sgamma, President of Western Energy Alliance, talks with Scott and Todd about the House vote on fracking recently.

UND EERC's Nikki Massman joins the show to end hour one. The EERC was recently named to Prairie Business Magazine’s “50 Best Places to Work” for 2019.
