America’s Land Auctioneer and Pifer’s Land: This week Kevin Pifer, America’s Land Auctioneer, is joined by Doug Goehring, North Dakota’s Commissioner of Agriculture. As Commissioner of Agriculture, Goehring also serves with the Governor and Attorney General on the North Dakota Industrial Commission, which oversees a number of state agencies and entities including the Bank of North Dakota, State Water Commission and the State Mill and Elevator. Goehring, who has been Commissioner since 2009, has a thorough handle on state and federal policies affecting American Agriculture. Goehring provides valuable information on programs and financing available to producers who have been negatively affected by the 2021 drought.
