DGF faces Hawley in rivalry showdown

DGF takes on Hawley in a rivalry matchup  on Friday to kick off the high school football season with radio coverage right before 7 pm on AM 1100 The Flag. Jed Thomas will have all of the play-by-play of the game. DGF will rely on their 15 returning starters from last year's 5-5 quad to make a deep postseason push, while Hawley looks to build on 9-2 season from a year ago. Key players in this matchup include the the Rebels 3-year starting quarterback Aiden Leach, for Hawley their ground game with be key with returning running back  Derian Gerdes leading the charge for Hawley.
