Three-goal third lifts Fargo Force to victory

A three-goal third period lifted the Fargo Force to a 6-1 win over Des Moines at the Scheels Arena in Fargo, in front of more than 3,900 fans that braved the blizzard weather.

Five different scorers tallied goals in the contest – led by Tristan Broz’s two goals, his 10th and 11th goals of the season, respectively.

Cole Brady finished the game with 28 saves on 29 shots. The lone goal given up by Brady came at the 32-second mark of the third period, on a pass from Mason Nevers to Alex Laferriere for Laferriere’s 10th goal of the season.

The Force will be back in action Saturday in Kearney, Neb., where they’ll take on the Tri-City Storm.
