SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota's Marlon Stewart became the first player this season to collect the #SummitMBB weekly award three times, garnering his latest accolade in an announcement made by league officials Monday. Stewart averaged 21.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 6.5 apg in a pair of home wins for the Fighting Hawks.

In UND's 78-71 win over Denver on Thursday, Stewart scored 19 points to go with seven rebounds and seven assists. He also went 10-for-10 from the foul stripe and equaled his career-high with four steals against the Pioneers.

The Rock Island, Ill., native followed that up with his second double-double of the season in an 83-77 win over Western Illinois. Stewart scored 23 points to go with a career-high 10 rebounds against the Leathernecks. He also dished out six assists and his 13 made free throws are the most by a Summit League player in a game this season.

For the week, Stewart went 5-for-11 from beyond the arc (45.5 percent) and 23-for-26 from the foul line (88.5 percent). He leads the league in free throws made (120) and attempted (150) this season.  Stewart enters this week as one of three NCAA Division I players averaging better than 17.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 5.0 apg this season, joining Radford's Carlik Jones (19.7/5.0/5.5) and Western Carolina's Mason Faulkner (18.7/5.7/6.4) in holding that distinction.
