The Fargo Invaders released a statement Sunday afternoon, following the guidance of the Northern Elite Football League (NEFL).
On Sunday, the NEFL’s representatives met virtually to discuss the 2020 season. The season is set to begin June 6.
“At this point, things will remain business as usual for league play,” the league said in a press release. “We will meet again in two weeks, on May 2nd, for any updates from the state health departments, along with the CDC.”
Fargo Invaders President Matt Petznick issued the following statement Sunday afternoon: “As much as every player, coach, & fan wants to get back out there, we have to take health recommendations into account. We will do our best to make it happen, but there are a lot of things out of our control.”
